Create a Robust Microbiome Using Emotions
Today I’d like to discuss how to create a robust microbiome using emotions. This topic is critical given the current climate in the world, especially in terms of the COVID19 situation.
This pandemic has brought to light the need for each of us to build our own healthy, robust immune system. And, a large part of having a robust immune system is having a robust microbiome.
At the same time, the COVID19 situation has also brought fear, anxiety, worry, and other undesirable emotions that are leaving many of us in a chronic state of stress. However, even before this pandemic, most of us were in a chronic state of fight or flight every day, we just didn’t realize it.
That’s not good because holding onto those emotions keeps you in a chronic state of stress and we know that chronic stress contributes to the development of all sorts of diseases, such as: depression, diabetes, cancer, autoimmune diseases, osteoporosis, and every other chronic or inflammatory disease you can imagine.
Consequently, it’s critical for your own health and wellness to learn how to process and release those emotions. So, today, I’d like to focus on emotional stress and how to manage negative emotions to help you build a more robust microbiome.
