Dr. Sina’s Blog
Welcome to my blog!
I share my thoughts on food, health, natural medicine, stress reduction, and disease reversal with a keen focus on providing practical solutions that everyone can incorporate into their daily lives.
Butternut Squash and Red Pear Soup
I love making this soup on a cold, fall day when the leaves are changing colors. It smells delicious and is packed with healing nutrients. I often whip up a double batch and freeze the other half for a rainy day.
Korean Beef and Carrots with Snap Peas
This dish is DELICIOUS and easy to make! Double the recipe and you can reserve half of the food for a hassle-free "frozen dinner" option. Simply store it in the freezer and easily reheat it in the oven for those hectic days when you're pressed for time or feeling overwhelmed.
Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies (Grain-Free with AIP Option)
Every birthday, Christmas, and Father’s day, my kids and I make these cookies for my husband and he NEVER tires of them! Even though they are grain-free, they are delicious! My friends say they taste “just like regular cookies.” Score!
Creamy Mango Avocado Salad Dressing with Orange Zest
This salad dressing is perfect for summer! It is creamy yet light while adding healthy fats to my diet. The orange zest makes this dressing pop!
As always, choose organic when possible and ask your body if it wants each ingredient.
Personalize your diet based on your body’s individual needs. Before adding each ingredients, ask your body if it wants that specific ingredient. If not, leave it out. If it does, ask how much it wants.
Mango Guacamole (Creamy or Chunky)
This guacamole is a family favorite! It’s nutrient dense, packed with flavor, and takes less then 10 minute to make!
I sometimes eat this guacamole by the spoonful. I also turn carrots or cucumber slices into “healthy chips” and use them as “guacamole delivery vehicles.” : )
As always, choose organic when possible and ask your body if it wants each ingredient.
Shredded Pork with Cumin & Orange Zest (Chicken Option)
My kids LOVE this recipe! Hands down, it is the most requested dish in our home. With only 10 minutes of prep work, you can create a delicious, nutrient packed meal with enough left over for breakfast the next morning!
I like to pair this recipe with my mango guacamole recipe and wild rice. My kids love to eat shredded pork in homemade tortilla shells.
As an added bonus, I have discovered that occasionally adding a bit of natural sugar into our meals has decreased sugar cravings in my kids, as well as myself!

5 Minute Chicken Bone Broth
This recipe is nutrient dense and delicious yet only takes 5 MINUTES to prep! I like to drink the broth from a mug and add a freshly minced clove of raw garlic. It’s healing and delicious!
As always, use your intuition by personalizing your diet based on your body’s individual needs. Ask your body before adding each ingredient if it wants that ingredient. If not, leave it out. Feel free to venture outside of this recipe by asking if your body wants other vegetables, herbs, or spices that aren’t listed below such as ginger or bay leaf.
Herb Chicken In A Hurry!
This recipe is a family favorite! It is delicious and only takes 5 MINUTES to prep! With minimal effort, you can offer your family a delicious herb chicken alongside a scrumptious vegetable medley!
Creamy Chocolate Smoothie!
This chocolate smoothie is one of my favorite desserts! It utilizes natural sugar and simple ingredients. I consume it sparingly, though, because cacao/chocolate can contain heavy metals.
As always, personalize this recipe by listening to your intuition when choosing specific ingredients, and choose organic ingredients when possible.
